I was born in Birmingham and raised in Decatur, Alabama. My Dad was a corrugated box sales representative for Horner Waldorf until 1976 when he and three others founded Target Container in Birmingham.

Met my future wife Katie when we were studying at University of North Alabama. We married on June 20, 1992 at First United Methodist Church in Downtown Florence. 

 

Everything changed on April 15, 2005 when our years of prayers were answered with the birth of our son Ethan. We now are enjoying watching him grow into a young adult. It comes with challenges, but he loves us, and more importantly Jesus and it is a joy. 

 

My career in corrugated started during summers of college working in design and production learning the business from the ground up at Target Container. Then I started with Pratt Industries (formerly Target Container) in 1993. 

 

I am now employed as a sales representative for Gulf Packaging. I joined Gulf in 2006 and have enjoyed being the part of the incredible growth we have experienced. We have grown into two brand new state of the art facilities with combined over 200,000 square feet. In addition, revenue has more that quadrupled in that time frame. We have a fantastic team with over 200 years of combined experience in the corrugated box industry.   

 

I am committed to serving my community (Luke 12:48). I volunteer at 3 Circle Church active in the Fairhope Kiwanis and I was the 2020-2021 Governor of the Alabama District of Kiwanis International.
